Empowerment Area
FACT Empowerment Evaluation Process
The following components are currently in place to ensure on-going evaluation and effectiveness of the community plan.
Monthly
The finance committee reviews all expenditures and financial statements monthly and provides feedback to the Empowerment Board.
Quarterly
The Warren County Empowerment Board requires funded projects to submit written quarterly reports.
The Program and Service Committee thoroughly reviews all quarterly reports and provides feedback to the Empowerment Board on a quarterly basis.
Annually
Contractors are required to come before the Warren County Empowerment Board and provide an oral report on an annual basis.
A yearend report is completed by each funded project with outputs, inputs, outcomes, and finances.
The community plan will be reviewed on an annual basis to address any changes within the community and legislation.
The FACT Empowerment Board submits an annual report to the state of Iowa.
Multi Year
The FACT Empowerment Board seeks re-designation from the state of Iowa every three years.
Other Information
A “cowboy card” is prepared with information from the yearend report to provide a snapshot view of the results. This information is utilized for communication purposes at state and local events.
Legislators and other officials are provided information on a yearly basis, such as the annual report, “At a Glance”, “cowboy card”, and testimonials.
The annual executive summary will be utilized as a condensed version of the annual report and will be utilized with policy makers.
